Ashley Crews, Certified Natural Hair Care Stylist & Product Owner turned Faith-Led Hair Coach, started styling hair at age 9 where she was her very first client because her mom could not do hair and she was tired of being teased at school along with her sisters from the awful hairstyles they were forced to wear. She was able to build and maintain a consistent clientele by age 13 as a traveling hairstylist in Harlem, NY. This was huge because she came from humble beginnings and the income from the business allowed her to help her mom financially with raising her siblings. She now has over 27 years of experience styling hair and 12yrs as the beauty business owner of HairVentionZ and 5 years as Owner of NyRose Naturals.

Since then, she has served thousands of clients to date and made 6 figures and on track to be a millionaire.

She has been featured in many publications such as HYPE Hair Magazine, Mizz CEO, YAHOO style and beauty, ALURE magazine, Seen on, Dr. oz show, Stylist for Shea Moisture, Black Women Talk Tech, NYFW, Aunt Jackies, TressNoire and more.

She also took classes to perfect her work over the years and is a Certified Natural Hair Care Stylist and Regimen Setting Consultant and now a Faith-Led Hair Care Coach where she is helping moms and stylists heal crowns through holistic hair care, God's word and proper protective hair styling. 

She also is a Certified Health Education Specialist holding degrees BS in Health and Physical Education and MA in Counseling: Health & Wellness. She is a Mom, an Author, Mentor, and Multi-Business Owner. 

Her motto is “Hair is my Passion, Health is my Life”. She always educates her clients about the importance of health for healthy hair & body in her styling sessions.

All of this didn't happen in a day. It was a long, lonely journey that needed extreme grit and determination.

But now she is dedicated to share her journey, her learnings, and her experiences to show you how you can also start out just learning the simple techniques to styling hair for your clients, family, or yourself.
